ICT Security the Highest Priority Across CJC’s Global Operations

LONDON, SEPTEMBER 21, 2025 – Crown Jewels Consultant Ltd (CJC), the award-winning provider of market data professional services and commercial management solutions, has completed its annual ISO 27001:2022 recertification, reinforcing its continued commitment to information security across its global operations.

The independent audit resulted in no major or minor non-conformities, and only three identified opportunities for existing processes and controls can be strengthened as part of CJC’s continuous improvement programme. The auditor also recognised the strength of CJC’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and enhancements made since the previous audit last year.

ICT security continues to be CJC’s top priority. Its ISMS provides the framework through which information security risks, policies, controls, responsibilities and improvement activities are managed across the business. Regular independent audits provide external assurance that these processes continue to meet the requirements of ISO 27001:2022.

Maintaining A Strong Information Security Framework – CJC continuously strives to strengthen its security and governance controls as its services, technology and regulatory requirements evolve. Instead of treating ISO 27001 as a certification exercise, teams across Governance, Risk and Compliance, Information Security, IT and Business Operations constantly use the ISMS to identify risks, review controls and track improvements.

Evgeny Smirnov, Global Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance at CJC, said, “We are proud to have completed our ISO 27001:2022 recertification. Having maintained ISO 27001 certification for many years, this achievement is not simply about retaining the certificate, but about demonstrating our continued commitment to strengthening and maturing our Information Security Management System.

Over the past 12 months, we have placed particular emphasis on enhancing our Risk Management and Supplier Management frameworks and processes, further strengthening our governance and control of information security across the business.

ISO 27001 is a continuous journey, and we remain committed to improving how we manage information security and the risks that come with an evolving business and technology landscape.”

Gina Wee, Chief Information Officer at CJC, added that “a year ago, I wrote external audits had shifted from feeling like exam results day to becoming a valuable opportunity to reflect on the progress we had made. This year, that sense of preparedness has evolved into confidence that the disciplines behind our certification are becoming embedded in the way CJC operates every day.
For me, CJC’s ISO 27001 recertification has never been about passing an audit. It is about demonstrating that we continue to understand our risks, adapt as both the standard and the broader environment evolve, and strengthen how we protect our clients, our people and our business.
My sincere thanks to everyone across CJC who contributes to this effort. In particular, I want to recognise our GRC, Information Security, IT and Business Operations teams, whose commitment keeps the system effective long after the auditors have completed their work.
Being recertified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is an important milestone, but it is not the finish line. It is another step in our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and resilience.”
