Supporting A Charity That Brings Joy to Seriously Ill Children

LONDON, 20 July 2026 – Crown Jewels Consultant Ltd (CJC), the award-winning market data technology consultancy and service provider, is proud to congratulate Spread-a-Smile on the outstanding success of its 2026 fundraising appeal, which raised more than £198,000 in just five days to support seriously ill children, young people and their families across the UK.

As part of the appeal, CJC donated to Spread a Smile, helping the charity continue its vital work of delivering moments of joy, laughter and connection to children facing long hospital stays, complex treatments and life-changing illnesses.

The charity’s appeal brought together supporters from across the country to help fund in-person and virtual visits from entertainers, artists, musicians, magicians and therapy dogs, as well as programmes that provide comfort and happiness during some of the most difficult days in a family’s life. Spread a Smile’s mission is to bring joy to seriously ill children and young people when they need it most, helping to create precious moments of normality, connection and hope.

Support Spread-a-Smile

Supporting organisations that make a meaningful difference is an important part of CJC’s commitment to giving back to the communities in which it lives and works. CJC believes businesses have an important role to play in creating a positive impact beyond the workplace by supporting causes that improve lives and bring people together through kindness and compassion.

CJC’s latest contribution builds on a longstanding relationship with Spread a Smile since 2022 and has built on various activities in support of Spread a Smile. The business has also previously supported the charity through technology donations to help expand access to virtual visits for vulnerable children who are unable to meet entertainers in person, enabling Spread a Smile to reach even more seriously ill children and young people.
