CJC recruit Tara Sym and Charles Porter for US expansion

Data technology consulting and managed services support provider CJC has expanded its US sales team with the recent additions of Tara Sym and Charles Porter as account manager and sales engineer, respectively, to help the vendor grow its presence in the region.

 

Sym will be responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with clients, including onboarding, dealing with contract or invoice questions, and identifying up-selling opportunities, while Porter will undertake pre-sales duties such as generating leads, attending events, evaluating client requirements and demonstrating CJCs’ services.

 

Sym was previously an account manager at data vendor Activ Financial, where she spent more than five years, while Porter was previously an associate director and market data engineer at UBS, where he spent nine and a half years, prior to which he was an MDS engineer at Perot Systems for four years, and also worked as a consultant at Sapphire Technologies, and in IT support at Reuters.

 

Both report to head of Americas Trista Burke, who joined CJC last year from FIS, where she spent nine months as senior sales director for its global trading business, following seven years at Activ Financial in account management and service delivery roles, including director of client services.

CJC to help banks take control of their global contributed data

New Regulatory division built around three industry specialists with over 70 years of financial data experience.

 

CJC, the global financial technology management solutions firm, today announced the formation of a new strategic division dedicated to assisting the banking community address the increasing regulatory challenges around managing and publishing market data.

 

A key focus for the division is the control of outbound data. Currently, though most banks have robust market data management processes and protocols in place, teams are generally only responsible for inbound consumption. CJC Provides ITOA Visualisations for Top 10 Global Investment Bank with new product, MosaicOA

The visualisation runs on CJC private cloud platform, supported by CJC support teams around the clock to ensure the data has no interruptions. The client then retrieves the data by a browser based front end.
