Brian Daly joins CJC

CJC are pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Daly.  Brian will be joining CJC from Goldman Sachs and has over 20 year’s experience in market data infrastructure support.

CJC expands EMEA operations and appoints Peter Williams to lead further growth

CJC, the leading independent market data consultancy, today announced its appointment of Peter Williams as director of operations for EMEA. This is a new position, created through CJC’s accelerated growth, with CJC’s business and headcount increasing by 25% over the last 12 months. Williams has been with CJC for four years, as a market data consultant.
Williams will be responsible for the operational management of the 40-strong EMEA team, which consists of market data engineers, consultants and project managers. He will be reinforcing CJC’s EMEA growth strategy, through the management of standards, processes, training and development, and overall account management. Williams has twelve years of experience in market data, and has previously worked in-house in broking and investment banking environments, including BNP Paribas and Credit Suisse.

Thomson Reuters extends relationship with CJC to support worldwide strategic hosting

CJC, the leading independent market data consultancy, today announced an extension of its strategic relationship with Thomson Reuters. As part of the agreement, CJC will assist in the management of the software infrastructure behind Thomson Reuters Hosting Solution, which includes high performance direct market connectivity to worldwide execution venues, real time market data, and post trade capabilities.
Thomson Reuters Hosting Solution provides a global network for resilient, scalable, performance tuned data centres. With data centres in New York, Chicago, London, Frankfurt, Singapore and Tokyo, the hosting solution will enable customers to plug their trading applications into a single architecture designed to lower total cost of ownership, streamline deployment and improve time to market with a single point of access to global trading venues.
CJC will assist in the maintenance, monitoring, capacity management, and problem diagnosis and resolution for Thomson Reuters Hosting Solutions. The firm will also provide ongoing support and migration testing for any client moving from a deployed service to the Thomson Reuters hosted environment.
