Thomson Reuters extends relationship with CJC to support worldwide strategic hosting

CJC, the leading independent market data consultancy, today announced an extension of its strategic relationship with Thomson Reuters. As part of the agreement, CJC will assist in the management of the software infrastructure behind Thomson Reuters Hosting Solution, which includes high performance direct market connectivity to worldwide execution venues, real time market data, and post trade capabilities.

Thomson Reuters Hosting Solution provides a global network for resilient, scalable, performance tuned data centres. With data centres in New York, Chicago, London, Frankfurt, Singapore and Tokyo, the hosting solution will enable customers to plug their trading applications into a single architecture designed to lower total cost of ownership, streamline deployment and improve time to market with a single point of access to global trading venues.

CJC will assist in the maintenance, monitoring, capacity management, and problem diagnosis and resolution for Thomson Reuters Hosting Solutions. The firm will also provide ongoing support and migration testing for any client moving from a deployed service to the Thomson Reuters hosted environment.

Jupiter Enlists CJC for RMDS Support
UK-based fund manager Jupiter Asset Management has recruited data consultancy CJC to take over technical management and support of its Thomson Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) infrastructure. CJC took over technical support on Jupiter's data distribution platform on 1st January. Jupiter will continue to host the infrastructure supporting RMDS in its existing datacentre, which CJC will access via a virtual private network link to allow its engineers to continuously monitor the system remotely and respond to any issues raised by users of apllications that consume real-time data from RMDS.

CJC’s new Hosting Partnership with Reuters
CJC are pleased to announce their global partnership with Reuters to support the RHS (Reuters Hosting Solution). RHS is a fully managed remote hosting solution that enables medium to smaller size institutions access to the full functionality of the Reuters system.  It also allows existing Reuters clients to benefit from a highly cost-effective offering of not only RDF+ but also direct exchange feeds..The solution will also give clients the ability to co-locate their own programs adjacent to the RHS datacenters reducing latency concerns.
